DISASTER INFORMATION INTEGRATION METHOD OF DISASTER
PREVENTION AND REDUCTION SYSTEM

All kinds of frequent natural disasters cause
serious catastrophe and great losses of people's life and production in the
world. All national governments and
departments in charge of disasters have paid greater and greater attention to
establishing disaster prevention and reduction system to effectively reduce
losses. In this paper, fist of all, the characteristics of integrative disaster
information are analyzed, and the requirements of static and dynamic
integration of the disaster information are investigated. And then, a method of
disaster information integration is presented with geography coding, large
scale relation database and dynamical data exchange technology. In the method,
1)fundamental spatial information integration is implemented by the consistency
processing, format transformation and projection processing of spatial and attribute data;2) the disaster
information data such as statistical data, text, images, multimedia and
thematic graphs is organized by establishing tree structure index in terms of
disaster classification based on geography coding technology;3)dynamic disaster
information integration is realized by establishing temporal index information
on spatial and non-spatial data in a way of automatic data processing and
loading. Finally, an implementation shows that this method can be well applied
into disaster prevention and reduction system for government departments.
