**A HIGHLY ACCURATE WORLD WIDE PROJECTION ALGORITHM FOR
TRANSVERSE MERCATOR**

The
projection algorithm for the Transversal Mercator projection having an accuracy
of 0.03 mm
up to 4000 km
from the central meridian is described. It is furthermore demonstrated that the
algorithm is valid passing the poles and when using this algorithm the entire
earth may be project in the plane with a very small exception area near the two
singularity points 90 degrees from the central meridian on the equator.

An even
more precise development may be presented.
