The ICA has decided on featuring outstanding cartographic products and work online.
This is meant as a benefit to map makers and cartographers, because the excellence of their product is disseminated via the official ICA website, as a benefit to those being interested in cartography, as they get a reliable and rated source on current quality map products and as a benefit to ICA, as the ICA is interested in fostering all kind of activities related to mapping and maps.
Procedure
At the moment the Map of the Month section features all winners of the map exhibition of International Cartographic Conferences (ICC).
