Our Map of the Month series is back with a Chinese atlas for October: “Chang’E-1 Topographic Atlas of the Moon” published by the National Astronomical Observatories at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. It received the third jury prize in the category “Atlases” at the International Cartographic Exhibition at ICC 2013 in Dresden.
We are happy to announce the Map of the Month for October: The large format “Landscape Atlas of the Czech Republic” by the Ministry of Environment of the Czech Republic and the Silva Tarouca Institute for landscape and ornamental gardening, which received the first jury’s prize in the category “Atlases” at the International Cartographic Exhibition at ICC 2011 in Paris.
Map of the Month 05/2012 is the Austrian school atlas Großer Kozenn. The atlas is a product by Ed. Hölzel, an Austrian publishing house founded in 1844. At the last ICC the atlas won the first jury’s prize in the category “Atlases: educational cartographic resources”.
