Vice-President
My devotion to maps led me to become a Geographer as well as an Engineer in Geodesy & Cartography. After some years working on different fields of cartography at various mapping organisations, I am currently working at the Department of National Atlas within the National Geographic Institute of Spain, one of the most relevant national mapping agencies in Europe with over 150 years of experience. Nevertheless I have also remained related to University and research in the field of mapping thank my two degrees, my master and my PhD studies.
In a global World international institutions like ICA are crucial. And so, they must be attractive. Therefore I would like to promote the perception of ICA among youngsters and I would like to foster the participation of young people in ICA so that this international organisation may enjoy a bright and successful future.
