A case study on underwater topography survey using remote
sensing data was carried out in Nantong section
of Yangtze River. The underwater shallow
topography was drawn using Landsat TM data according to the established remote
sensing water depth model. A dynamic monitoring on underwater sandbars was made
using multi-temporal remote sensing information and the evolution of river
process was also discussed.
